Oil on Panel 21’’ × 27’’
She sits in warm wood light, top hat and brass goggles catching a blue glint, a red teardrop at her throat. Beside her, clockwork climbs like a living machine — gears, dials, filigree that won’t quite sit still. Somewhere between memory and invention, time forgets to move forward.

Each original is painted in oil, sometimes embellished with gold leaf, on canvas or panel. I work in layers — drawing, underpainting, then adding more color and glaze’s — until the edges, pattern, and light sit still. The subjects are the ones I keep returning to: figures, animals, ornament, and the quiet space between them.
Every painting is custom framed. I choose the frame for that piece alone — proportion, finish, and line — so the work is complete when it leaves the studio, ready to hang.
